My names Emma, mum, owner and registered nurse specialising in Ear Health. We have been servicing ear health in the Gisborne and Whakatane community since 2020. Whether it’s simple ear wax removal or a foreign object, we’ve got the experience to help you get hearing clearly again.

FAQs

  • Your ear specialist will assess your ears, explain equipment and what you will experience. During the suction it can be noisy, but this only lasts a short period of time. After wax is removed we will reassess and make sure everything is normal.

  • Ear wax is usually harmless, but occasionally there is excess build up inside the ear canal which can cause reduced hearing and pain.

    Signs to look out for are:

    • Your ears feel blocked.

    • You have a history of ear wax building up.

    • Your hearing is reduced.

    • There is discharge coming from your ear.

    • You experience ringing in your ears (tinnitus).

  • Appointments take approximately 15 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier to fill out intake form if this is your first time.

  • Yes, we can do home visits at extra cost. Please call us for our next availability.
